mission accomplished!
Today was very nice. Started with the SMU Law interview, which was rather short, then lunch with my parents at a restaurant in People's Park that employs ex-convicts. Attempted to run 10 click on the track in the afternoon, but gave up at 7.6k. Body needs more conditioning.
Evening was outing with Mr Pink (for want of another name) at New York^2. We ordered the Yankee Burger and were duly informed that there was this challenge thing where if an individual manages to finish the whole thing fries and all then the burger's on the house. We passed on that one, and were content with a quarter of the 8-inch burger each.
When the staff approached our table with a birthday cake I was genuinely surprised..I mean I sort of suspected something when Lari whispered to Cerlyn before leaving the table but when they came back i just forgot the whole thing. Anyhow it was a lovely mango cake! And Rayner brought his big big camera to take photos of the whole thing. Such awesome people.
